HypnoBirthing® -- the Mongan Method Childbirth Classes
 
In a series of four 3-hour classes, you will learn:
  • How the mother's body is designed to work in perfect harmony, throughout labor -- when your body  is sufficiently relaxed.
  • The source of the myth that pain must accompany normal birthing.
  • Relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to eliminate the fear and tension that cause long labor and pain, and replacing it with confidence, calm and comfort. 
  • Practice in deep relaxation during and between uterine surges so that you will be able to use your natural birthing instincts for a calm, serene and comfortable birthing.

    My Story 
     
    I started teaching HypnoBirthing after having a wonderful hypnobirth, an easy, drug-free, pain-free, 4 hour 1st time labor, with an 8 pounds 10 ozs VBAC baby. It was such an amazing experience, and my baby is so confident and content. I want every woman to learn about the option of having a safe, comfortable and beautiful birth, and the happiest baby on the block.
     
    My daughters love watching the calm HypnoBirthing birth videos. Maggie sometimes says: "Look at my tummy. It's so round! I'm going to have a baby." One day Katie asked: "Where are they (couples took my classes) going to have their baby?" "In a hospital or birth center." I replied. Then she said: "Let's invite them to have their babies at our home. We'll light the candles and sing happy birthday once the baby is born."
     
    My dream is that when my girls grow up, most people will have the same expectation of birth. Birth will be approached as a joyous, calm and safe event, as a celebration of life.
